A place where we can work together to navigate a loss.
My name is Wendy Herriott, and I am a counsellor offering online or face-to-face support in Stafford.
Explore what you are experiencing in a safe, supportive environment.
I trained at Waverley Abbey College and hold a Diploma of Higher Education in Counselling from Middlesex University. Additionally, I have earned a Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling.
I am a registered counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to their ethical framework. I also volunteer for Stafford and District Bereavement and Loss Support Service.
As an integrative counsellor, I combine several approaches to best suit your needs. Some sessions may focus on past experiences, while others might explore the connections between thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and physical health. I primarily work with adults experiencing loss, helping them share their stories and begin to process grief.
Counselling can offer the support needed to focus on different aspects of our lives in a non-judgemental space, where you can express the pain that you may be in. It can also help unlock the grieving process, especially when you feel stuck.
I specialise in working with various forms of loss. Whether it's the loss of a loved one, health, or a major life change, I am here to help you process and navigate through these challenges.
I may be able to help with a variety of different issues, including:
Stress
Spirituality
Depression
Breakdown of a Relationship
Anxiety
Change in Circumstances
Decline in Health
Termination of Employment
Bereavement
Anger

You can choose between Zoom, phone calls, or in-person meetings. I offer flexible options to accommodate your needs.
To explore whether you would like us to work together, we can start with a phone conversation.
Payments are to be made by bank transfer after each session. Concessionary rates are available upon request.
Counselling allows you to explore personal challenges in a supportive and confidential manner. This might include processing difficult or painful experiences.
Yes, everything discussed during counselling sessions remains confidential. However, there are exceptions regarding risk of harm or legal matters, where I would be required to make a disclosure, ideally with your consent, to your GP.
