When considering our health, it can be helpful to recognise the importance of being alongside what we spend our time doing. So here are my three be statements of being when we are trying to redress the balance.
Be honest
Being honest with ourselves may feel like a painful exercise but if we can weigh that alongside self-compassion it can bring some positive results.
Be kind
Showing kindness to friends and strangers not only benefits them but boosts our frame of mind too.
Be grateful
Giving thanks for various aspects of our lives helps us to remember them and celebrate.
