So in 2025 I wanted to share a few more details of ways that have helped me to navigate loss and try to offer some hope in the midst of them.
Genuinely one of the things that drew me closer to the person who had died was cooking.
During their life hospitality had been one of their values and through a process of baking items which they had lovingly prepared previously or making their favourite dishes brought me comfort.
Following their recipes or making up my own allowed me to engage all my senses and process emotions more intentionally.
How much time do you spend in the kitchen?
